I’m Melissa Claire and I capture moments for a living.

Here's the deal: No matter who you are or who you love, you deserve to have your biggest day be memorable, and I want to celebrate and document it with you! I call the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex home, and have my entire life! 

A little about my photography experience: I graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a BFA in photography in 2010. After graduation, I officially launched my wedding photography business in 2012. I've photographed hundreds of weddings since, gaining knowledge and expertise along the way.

When I’m not behind the lens, you can find me curled up on the couch watching RuPaul's Drag Race, Golden Girls, or King of the Hill. I love Lord of the Rings and fantasy stories, and anything Sci-Fi! I also donate my time to progressive causes and come from a family of Texan progressives. My hair might be a different color every time you see me; it’s a reflection of my mood and the vibe I’m feeling. I've been enjoying developing my personal style, as well! Oh, and I have a deep, deep, love and appreciation for David Bowie.

My husband, Nick, and I are parents to three cats who are spoiled rotten: Niles the tabby, George the black cat, and Alexandria the calico. When Nick’s not spending his time as a professional musician or podcaster, he teams up with me as a second shooter. We are total goofballs and vibe well with couples who aren't afraid to be a bit silly, and don't take themselves too seriously.
