Casey and Mike’s The Lumen Room engagement session was actually a second round of their engagement photos due to cold weather and living out of town! We photographed our first round quickly with a mini session (in the freezing cold and a bit of rain) at Prairie Creek Park, and I didn’t yet have my blogging-immediately-to-share-sneak-peek routine down – so that post will be coming up later on :)

Casey and Mike live up in Seattle – so when yesterday’s forecast was an unseasonably 35 degrees with 20MPH winds in April, we opted to book an indoor studio space instead. I LOVE the results and am very grateful for the variety of natural light studio spaces that are available all around Dallas. I think it goes without saying that I am so looking forward to their wedding at Cross Creek Ranch later this year.

You guys make cold weather look good. Shoutout to Texas weather for being typically unpredictable – we will make it work regardless!
