Kendra and Ben’s Fort Worth Engagement Session
Kendra and Ben are one of the most delightful couples we’ve ever had the joy of working with. At our first consultation, we discovered that we are kindred spirits due to our love of all things nerdy, feline, and musical. It doesn’t hurt that what originally convinced Kendra to contact me was this Halloween blog post featuring our black cat, George! Just like us, they are also the proud parents of two cats :)
Musically speaking, Kendra and Ben also both happen to be band people: Kendra was an all-state trumpet player, and Ben is studying right now to receive his doctorate in Music Education. It’s a true honor to have been chosen to be a part of their wedding day, and Nick and I are so looking forward to their intimate summer wedding at the Old Bedford School in a few weeks!
We started the session amongst a sea of tuxes and dresses (AKA a plethora of prom-goers!) at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens.
Next, for a bit of variety, we headed over to the Magnolia neighborhood in Fort Worth for the remainder of their session.
I couldn’t help but swoon over Kendra’s beautiful blue eyes!
At the end of our session, a man who appeared to be a cowboy walked by and asked the happy couple if they were “engaged or something.” Kendra responded with “We just met today!”
We all head a hearty laugh over that :)
Kendra and Ben, we can’t wait to see you both again in a few weeks for your fabulous wedding!
