Melissa and Chad’s Wedding at the Rose Chapel
I am so thrilled to post about Melissa and Chad’s Christmas-themed wedding at the Rose Chapel in Fort Worth. As this was my first wedding at the Rose Chapel in over a year, I was quite excited to capture both the familiar and the fresh. We started off the evening in the dressing room where Melissa was busy touching up makeup and getting ready for the ceremony.
Isn’t this the sweetest little tuxedo you’ve ever seen? It’s for Jack, Melissa and Chad’s sweet new baby boy! Like all babies, he really created an extra special presence in the room.
Melissa’s up-do was absolutely breathtaking.
Meanwhile, Chad and his fellow groomsmen were greeting friends and family in the sanctuary.
Little Jack, totally working that tiny tuxedo!
And then it was time for the ceremony to begin:
Lighting the unity candle:
And before we knew it, they were making their way down the aisle for the first time as husband and wife!
While we were getting ready for family formals, Nick snapped this beautiful photo of the moon:
We had to take a quick family portrait!
As night had already fallen, we used off-camera flash for the bridal party formals. They were such a great group of people. So fun and relaxed!
It was time for the reception to begin:
We then took a quick ten minute break for romantic bride and groom portraits – once again with the off-camera flash.
Cake cutting! This cake was made by one of Melissa’s lovely bridesmaids, Emily.
Everyone wanted to hold baby Jack:
This was great: Chad performed a fantastic rendition of “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey! He even gained a few fans:
Shortly after, we came to the bouquet and garter tosses:
Melissa and Chad, it was wonderful to document your wedding day and its many wonderful memories. Here’s to many years of love, happiness, and joy for you two!
