Thanksgiving 2012 in Kansas
Hello all! Nick and I spent Thanksgiving with his family in southeast Kansas at his grandparents’ ranch. I always bring my camera along because it’s a great chance to photograph some gorgeous landscapes and commune with nature. Here are some of my favorites from the trip.
I know my mom will love this – Blue Willow Ware!
Before the feast…
After feasting, we went on a walk and hung out with the sweet cat, Eleanor. She reigns over her wild kingdom and all the other outdoor cats.
I couldn’t resist – Nick almost perfectly matched the color of this tree!
Here are a few landscape and nature photographs from our various walks around the farm:

I really do love visiting Kansas. It’s such a nice break from life in the suburbs. Right after Christmas, we’re going to go back to dress up in camouflage and try to capture some winter wildlife! And I’ll definitely blog about it, too.
Thanks for viewing!
