Rachael and Tom’s Wedding at City Club Fort Worth
I’m excited to present my first wedding blog for this website! Do you guys remember Rachael and Tom and their botanical engagement session? They tied the knot at City Club Fort Worth in mid-July, and it really was just a fabulous day. Their wedding was very simple (no bride or groom parties) yet refined (have you seen the City Club?). We started out by taking some detail shots of the decorations and the gorgeous venue.
This cake topper is SO epic! I love it.
There were tons of mirrors in the ballroom, which made for an amazing effect during the reception. Like I said, City Club Fort Worth is gorgeous.
When I was taking photos of the rings, this rose petal was already in a perfect heart shape.
While Rachael was getting ready, I snapped a few portraits with the gorgeous natural light coming through the windows – she took my breath away. I can’t even imagine what Tom was feeling when he saw her for the first time!
The room where the ceremony took place had a stunning view of the Bass Hall. So majestic and grand!
They look so incredibly happy.
After family photos, we got to go out on the balcony to take some bride and groom portraits!
This was awesome. Yes, those are lightsabers, and they took it a step further by being announced as husband and wife to the Imperial March!
Champagne and toasts
And of course, there was a quick lightsaber battle towards the end of the night.
Rachael and Tom, thank you guys so much for having us be a part of your special day. It feels awesome to finally be able to post a perfectly beautiful wedding on my blog!
